The Anastasia Inn is located just far enough from the hustle bustle of the town, but close enough to walk to the attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The extras in the room were a plus, such as the coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and hair dryer.
we were here about 5 yrs ago...we liked it then and liked it now...however the furnishings could b updated
Manager very helpfull and friendley
I liked the staff and the over all cleanness of the room however my Dad got a really bad allergy and we are thinking it was because of the dirtiness of the air ducks of the air conditioner.
It was good except for my dads allergy problems due to some dirtiness of the room.
The room was very comfortable and the front desk staff very pleasant. It was clean and had a nice complimentary breakfast. Our room had connecting doors to the room next door and it was great having the grandchildren to be able to get back and forth.Great place.
Good service, the price was just right and the room was very nice, clean and comfortable.
Cannot open the windows - one has to run the noisy air-conditioner all night. Therefore, there is no ventilation without the air conditioner or opening the front door. Then there is a lot of road noise. It would be very nice if the upstairs rooms had ventilation other than running the air conditioner. The road noise is to be expected due to its location which is on a much-traveled highway. However, when the traffic slows down, it is peaceful and pleasant.
This hotel which is very close to the city centre (you just need to cross the bridge) provided us very safe and clean accommodation for very good price. In reception there is very nice and helpful guy. Internet was very fast so we were able to use skype. Breakfast was without place for sitting there. However we did not expect any fancy room for breakfast. So as we were in rush we just took orange juice and muffins. In general, if you want to stay in nice, safe and cheap hotel in St. Augustine we recommend you this one. If we came to St.A. again we would definitely stay there.
Only one thing we did not like. There were some scuffling igelits on matresses which were quite uncomfortable especially in the evening when we watched some movies. However, this is one small gap among excellent and nearly excellent. One more thing which we didnt like is not about the hotel but about ghost tours in the city. Actually we are used to visit tours with high historical value from Europe. Although tour guides tried to make the tour as much interesting as it could be we would not worth such tour for 26 dollars per person.
Central location between beach and city. Good price for what was offered compared to other motels in the area.
There were tea bags in the room and lobby but no mug to heat the water in the microwave with. Foam cups were provided, but they would melt in a microwave. Tthis is just odd and not a reason to not stay at this Inn.
The price was more than fair & we had a nice room close the office and on the 2nd floor where it was quieter. The room was clean & it included a microwave, a fridge & a coffee maker. For $55 a night, I was overwhelmed! Plus it included a small breakfast that saved us even more money. I would definitely stay there again if I return to St. Augustine.
The tub backed up a bit while taking a shower and drained slowly. The bathroom looked a bit run down, but for the price I felt it was adequate. Definitely not the place to stay if you want somewhere new, but for older met all of our needs.
Location was close to downtown and places to eat were walking distance away
The only downfall is the parking. We had a hard time finding a spot. There were not enough spaces for us to park on the property where we were staying. That was a real bother to me. I had to park across the street at a store...
The location was very good, witih easy drive to attractions. It was quiet at night, and parking was free and right outside your door. It was reasonably priced. Breakfast was simple but enough.
The pool is very small - no space for sitting around it. The box-springs were stained and should be replaced or at least covered.
Price and location
Pool is small, coffee is bad
Proximity to downtown. Price was appropriate. Room was clean.
Beds were extremely saggy and as a result very uncomfortable
close to everything
small area for breackfest,,
The staff was great and friendly and the hotel was convenient to family and prevented commuting by car.
